Welcome back to the realm of concise thought.
Book three in the 'a River of Small Stones' series, like it's predecessors is an exercise in expressing often singular emotions in a short poem. These were all written in January 2012 but their accompanying photos (which were used as stimuli) were mostly taken during 2011. By seperating the photo's from their own time frame it was possible to attribute different emotions to them.

The style of poetry is called ekphrasic which means it uses one form of art (in this case photography) to inspire another i.e. the poetry.
